Wow… this has been on the list for a LONG time!

The Rotary signs have had a much-needed makeover, and our Rotary trees at the entrances to town have been given some love too.

A massive thank you to Amber and the team at Transform Aotearoa for doing all the hard work, and to Martin for giving our Rotary signs a fantastic polish.

It’s looking sooooo good!
We’re very proud to have our Rotary signs looking fresh and welcoming again.

One more thing ticked off the list!

Last Friday, Rotary Putaruru, was asked to choose the “Most Sustainable Design” at St. Mary’s Wearable Arts event. It certainly was not an easy task.

Our choice was Sophie with her amazing “Book Dress”. The entire dress was made from pages from books and magazines with the top cleverly created of a book cover. A truly creative and sustainable design and a very well deserved award for this talented young lady …

What a fantastic night!

Well done to everyone who took part.

Last night’s Rotary Putāruru Quiz Night was an absolute blast! 🎉

A huge congratulations to The Beach Boys, who took out 1st place after a night of friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and some very tricky questions! 🏆👏

A big thank you to our fantastic Quizmaster, Steve, for keeping everyone entertained, and to Kimberly Crocker for helping Rotary with the licence. Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without people like you.

To all our amazing Rotary members who helped organise, set up, serve, pack down, and make the evening run so smoothly—thank you. Teamwork is what makes these community events such a success.

And of course, we can’t forget the famous $5 mystery bottle prizes! 🍾😂 Some lucky winners walked away with a lovely bottle of wine… while others proudly claimed a bottle of tomato sauce! That’s all part of the fun!

Thank you to everyone who came along, supported the night, and shared plenty of laughs with us. We had a fantastic evening and can’t wait to do it all again!
