It serves as an umbrella organization to the Karang hostel and Karang Gangjong Rikshung Basic School.

On March 7, 2026, the annual meeting of Help Dolpo was successfully held.

Help Dolpo was established in 2018 under the chairmanship of Pema Gojor and has been actively contributing to social service for the Dolpo community. During today’s meeting, the leadership of the organization was officially handed over to Pema Dolma as the new Chairperson.

Additionally, Dolma Lhamo has been nominated as the new Treasurer and Pema Lhamo as the Secretary of Help Dolpo.

Congratulations to the new leadership team, and best wishes for a successful term ahead. We believe that Help Dolpo will continue to serve and support the Dolpo community with even greater dedication in the future. 🙏

We are truly blessed to begin 2026 with such joy and with beautiful gifts from kindred spirits. January has been an incredible month for us, providing a golden opportunity to learn many new skills. It has, in many ways, set a wonderful tone for our entire year.
We are all deeply grateful to our Appa, David Swainfor the beautiful and most memorable camping experience.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hunstock for resolving one of our most significant issues, the water leakage. We are immensely relieved and thankful.
It was also a great pleasure to meet Sonngard Trindlerand her husband, Peter. Thank you so much for your precious gift; you have helped make our year truly special.

A year of growth and glory at Karang School

From the classroom to the playing field, it’s been a phenomenal period of growth and joy at Karang School! Our hearts are full seeing our students excel in their academic pursuits, unleash their energy and team spirit in sports and games, and create lasting bonds as one big school family.

We’re also incredibly proud to have enhanced our school with exciting new projects, from cozy new hostel bunk beds and a reliable water project to beautiful renovations, all ensuring a better, brighter environment for everyone.
