🐢🌿 World Turtle Day 2026 !!! 🌿🐢

On the auspicious occasion, SAFE-Nepal, successfully conducted a school teaching and awareness program at 3 Angels School. The program highlighted the ecological importance of turtles, the threats they face, and the vital role students can play in their conservation.

A total of 40 enthusiastic students of grade 8 and 9 actively participated in the session, making the program interactive, inspiring, and meaningful. Through awareness and education, we believe young generations can become strong voices for wildlife conservation and environmental protection. 💚🌏

We would like to sincerely thank the school administration, teachers, and all participating students for their warm support and active involvement in making the program successful.🐢💚

🦋 “Butterfly Research Techniques and Training - 2026” 🦋

We are delighted to share the successful completion of the “Butterfly Research Techniques and Training 2026” program. The session provided valuable insights into butterfly research methods, field techniques, identification, and ethical capturing & handling practices.

A heartfelt thank you to our respected resource person, Mr. Surendra Pariyar sir, for sharing his knowledge, experience, and inspiring guidance throughout the training.

We are pleased to announce the 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 – 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, an academic and field-oriented learning opportunity designed to build practical skills in butterfly identification, research methodologies, and ethical handling practices. This program aims to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world application through expert-led sessions and field-based learning.

The training will be facilitated by Mr. Surendra Pariyar and will provide participants with hands-on experience in butterfly observation, documentation, and research techniques, along with opportunities for interaction and discussion with experts in the field.

📍 Venue: IoF Pokhara
📅 Date: 17th May 2026

Participants will gain exposure to scientific approaches in lepidopteran studies, strengthen their field research capacity, and receive a certificate upon successful completion of the program.

आज मिति २०८३/०१/१२ गतेका दिन वन तथा वातावरणका लागि विद्यार्थी समाज नेपाल (SAFE-Nepal) र स्वयंसेवी वातावरण जागरण समुह (SHEAC IOF) को संयुक्त आयोजनामा पोखरा महानगरपालिका वडा नं. २२, पुम्दी क्षेत्रमा वन डढेलो तथा यसको नियन्त्रण उपाय सम्बन्धी सचेतनामूलक कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भयो। 🌲🔥
