The bees, butterflies, birds, and bats are responsible for pollinating nearly 75% of the world's flowering plants and around 35% of global food crops. Their work is essential for food production, biodiversity, healthy ecosystems, and human well-being.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 2026 (Jun 22-28), let's recognize these silent heroes and take action to protect them by
- Planting native flowering plants
- Reducing pesticide use
- Conserving natural habitats
- Raising awareness in our communities

Every flower visited, every crop pollinated, and every ecosystem sustained reminds us that protecting pollinators means protecting our future.

Nepal is home to remarkable deer and musk deer species, from the spotted Chital of the Terai to the elusive Himalayan Musk Deer. As herbivores, these animals interact closely with forest vegetation, influencing plant communities and supporting natural ecosystem processes. In turn, healthy forests provide them with food, shelter, and safe habitat.
