A glimpse of our “Environmental Awareness and Documentation Program” in Sikles, Kaski documenting local waste management practices, community voices and the linkage between unmanaged waste and human – wildlife conflict.

This documentary is a reflection of the importance of community participation to protect people and nature through discussions with mothers’ groups, interactions with locals, and school awareness sessions.

We are extremely happy to have participated in the 13th Nepal Owl Festival and to represent our organization through our stall during this inspiring two-day program. It was an amazing experience to be part of an event dedicated to owl conservation and awareness. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who worked hard from beginning to end to make this festival successful. Special thanks to the Friends of Nature-FON Nepal team for providing this opportunity.
