A Non-Governmental Organisation that supports children and even adults suffering from cancer It is a non governmental , non profit-making organisation.

Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group was officially set up in 2002. AIMS of the group:

To advocate on behalf of affected children and their families by representing their needs;
To campaign for the provision of a coordinated network of care and support;
To promote models of good care and practice;
To support families with a national information service;
To enhance the knowledge and skills of professional carers by providing specialist literature and education opportunities;
To assist affected children by improving the environment in which they are treated;
To raise funds through sponsorships, donations and fundraising activities or through any other means as the Management Committee may determine; and
In general to do all that is conducive to the attainment of the above aims

Waqt attività ta’ team building organizzata minn Proprjetà, li fiha ħadu sehem l-agenti kollha ta’ Proprjetà, saret kompetizzjoni tat-tisjir.

L-Uffiċċju ta’ Ħaż-Żebbuġ irnexxielu jirbaħ din il-kompetizzjoni, bi premju ta’ €250 biex igawduwhom flimkien.

Madankollu, minflok għażlu li jużaw dawn il-flus għalihom infushom, il-membri tal-Uffiċċju ta’ Ħaż-Żebbuġ iddeċidew li jagħmlu xi ħaġa aktar sinifikanti. Flimkien, għażlu li jirduppjaw l-ammont mirbuħ għal €500 u jagħtuh bħala donazzjoni lil Puttinu Cares. ❤️

Din kienet inizjattiva mill-qalb tal-membri tal-uffiċċju, bħala turija ta’ apprezzament lejn il-ħidma imprezzabbli li jagħmel Puttinu Cares mal-pazjenti u l-familji tagħhom f’mumenti diffiċli.

Għax kultant, l-isbaħ rebħa mhix dak li tirbaħ għalik innifsek, iżda dak li tkun tista’ tagħti lil ħaddieħor. ❤️💙

A Birthday Celebration with a Big Heart ❤️ Ronnie Galea recently celebrated his 75th birthday in a truly meaningful way. Having been a patient himself, Ronnie knows first-hand the support Puttinu Cares offers during such difficult times, and he felt it was his turn to give back.
Instead of receiving gifts, Ronnie kindly asked his family and friends to make a donation to Puttinu Cares. Thanks to his generosity and that of his guests, a remarkable €3,650 was raised.
We are deeply grateful to Ronnie for sharing his special day with us, and to everyone who contributed so generously. Your support helps us continue to be there for patients and their families when they need it most.
Happy 75th birthday, Ronnie, and thank you! 🎉

Good morning 💛

How often do we catch ourselves saying:

“I’m such an idiot.”
“I look terrible.”
“I shouldn’t have said that.”
“Why did I even try?”
“I’m not good enough.”

Sometimes, the harshest words we hear, are the ones we say to ourselves. 😩 The words we speak to ourselves matter. They shape how we see ourselves, how we feel, and what we believe we deserve. 💗

So, this Tuesday, let us make a conscious choice to drown out that negative inner voice, and make an effort to give ourselves the same grace, encouragement, and compassion we so freely offer others. 🌷
