Puttinu Cares A Non-Governmental Organisation that supports children and even adults suffering from cancer It is a non governmental , non profit-making organisation.

Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group was officially set up in 2002. AIMS of the group:

To advocate on behalf of affected children and their families by representing their needs;
To campaign for the provision of a coordinated network of care and support;
To promote models of good care and practice;
To support families with a national information service;
To enhance the knowledge and skill

s of professional carers by providing specialist literature and education opportunities;
To assist affected children by improving the environment in which they are treated;
To raise funds through sponsorships, donations and fundraising activities or through any other means as the Management Committee may determine; and
In general to do all that is conducive to the attainment of the above aims

We are proud to announce that the beautiful sum of €1,300 was raised during the Celebration Day activities of Kinder 1, Kinder 2, and Year 1 at Oliver Friġġieri School, Birkirkara Primary.
This remarkable achievement was made possible through the sales of sweet treats generously sponsored by Maypole, the sponsorship provided by Fonzu, and the kind contribution of a relative of one of our staff members. Most importantly, it reflects the unwavering support, generosity, and community spirit shown by our parents, educators, minor staff and all those who contributed to this worthy cause.

Gozitan Grazers and Kemmuna faced off in the Battle of the Islands charity match, coming together to raise an incredible €1,900 for Puttinu Cares.

Trustin Farrugia Cann, Vice President of the Malta Football Association, paid a visit to Puttinu Cares.

On belhaf of the Malta FA three footballs used during the FA Trophy Final were presented. The original footballs are signed from the goal scorers of the FA Trophy Final between Valletta and Gzira.

Also a presentation of a Malta Women National Team shirt, signed by all players, was presented to Puttinu Cares for Auction purpose.
