Memories, Memories! A group of us from The Archaeological Society Malta was privileged to visit Libya in 2005. We toured the wonderful sites of Tripolitania and Cyrenaica as well as travelling south to Ghadames. What an amazing experience that was! We sincerely hope that UNESCO heeds the pleas of those who tried so hard to protect these archaeological sites through such difficult times.

The final lecture of ASM's 2025-26 series is scheduled for Wednesday the 20th of May at the Grand Hotel Excelsior. The second lecture of the day will be presented by Mr Joel Grima, who will explain how his research employs scientific and statistical techniques to address enigmatic age, formation, and use of Malta's Cart Ruts.

This first of these lectures will be presented by Dr Jonathan Borg, who explores the processes by which antiquities in the Maltese Islands were transformed into historic monuments between the sixteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Prof Jacques will be introducing and presenting recent findings from the Mesolithic site of Blick Mead, which forms part of the greater Stonehenge archaeological area.
