➡️ This Snapshot analysis underscores that judicial independence and adequate resourcing are central to rule of law resilience in EU accession countries and beyond. Across the nine focus states, levels of judicial independence and expenditure remain well below EU averages, reflecting persistent challenges such as politicised appointments, weak accountability, and institutional fragility.

Меѓу клучните наоди:
▶️ 80% одбиле пари за да потпишат петиција против своите убедувања
▶️ 78% одбиле финансиска компензација за воздржување од гласање
▶️ 98% од онлајн коментарите кон политичарите содржат елементи на омраза
▶️ Рамнодушноста кон политиката е поголем демократски ризик од самата емоционалност.

На јавниот настан „Емоции и политика: Презентација на истражувачки наоди од Encode Project“ разговаравме за улогата на емоциите во политичкиот и јавниот дискурс - од влијанието на социјалните медиуми и политичката поларизација, до демократската отпорност и начинот на кој граѓаните реагираат на политички наративи.

Истражувачи и експерти од повеќе европски универзитети и организации споделија наоди и иновативни методолошки пристапи од проектот ENCODE, вклучително и анализи на социјални медиуми, експерименти за демократска отпорност и истражувања што комбинираат биометриски и квалитативни методи. 🌍

How do emotions shape the way we experience politics and democracy? 🤔
At the public event “Emotions and Politics: Insights from the Encode Project”, we discussed the role of emotions in political and public discourse - from the influence of social media and political polarisation to democratic resilience and the ways citizens respond to political narratives.

Researchers and experts from several European universities and organisations shared findings and innovative methodological approaches from the ENCODE project, including social media analysis, experiments on democratic resilience, and research combining biometric and qualitative methods. 🌍
