Myth: E20 corrodes engines and fuel systems.
Fact Check: Misleading.

Modern vehicles are engineered with materials compatible with ethanol-blended fuels, and BIS fuel standards already account for E20 compatibility. E20 does not damage engines or fuel systems under normal use.

While certain rubber components in some much older vehicles may require routine replacement over time, this is part of normal maintenance - not evidence of engine damage caused by E20.
