Curiosity grows when learning moves beyond textbooks.

Nasscom Foundation, in collaboration with , has launched a dedicated Lab at Vedic Kanya Inter College, Delhi NCR, to make STEM more hands-on, interactive and engaging for students. The lab will enable students to explore STEM concepts through practical exposure, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build confidence to imagine, experiment and innovate.

The launch was graced by representatives from Ganesh Kashyap, Mukul Bajaj, Binesh Kumar, Mohit Kumar and Pushpa Jha from Landis+Gyr and Siddhartha Pande, Farhana Yasmin, Neha Sharma, Dibyayan Datta and Ritu Sengupta from Nasscom Foundation and Sundar Krishnan from Experifun, along with the school’s teachers and students. The students also interacted with the leadership team and enthusiastically shared their interest in the STEM Lab, making the event more engaging and meaningful. This marked an important step towards creating more experiential and interactive learning spaces especially in government schools.

Together, we are helping spark curiosity today to shape the innovators of tomorrow.

Sometimes, entrepreneurship begins with a small step toward independence.

Through Nasscom Foundation’s Award to Reward initiative by Women Entrepreneurship Platform (Niti Ayog), women like Rukmini are gaining access to opportunities that help strengthen livelihoods and build long-term confidence.

Starting with handcrafted jewellery and community support. Rukmini gradually expanded her reach through skill-building and market exposure opportunities — turning local craft into a growing source of income.

Her journey reflects how access, encouragement, and visibility can help women entrepreneurs grow with confidence.

What begins as creativity can sometimes become a pathway to resilience.

Through Nasscom Foundation’s Award to Reward initiative by Women Entrepreneurship Platform, women entrepreneurs like Parvathy are receiving the support, visibility, and business guidance needed to strengthen sustainable livelihoods.

After facing financial uncertainty during the pandemic, Parvathy transformed her passion for handmade craft into Parva Handicraft — building not just an enterprise, but opportunities for other women in her community as well.

Her journey reflects how the right support can help local entrepreneurship grow into long-term impact.

Through the Award to Reward initiative by (NITI Aayog), women like Ashwathamma are turning aspirations into sustainable livelihoods. In the quiet village of Chakavelu, Ashwathamma began her journey with a simple yet powerful goal—to build a more secure future for her family. She transformed a traditional craft into a thriving enterprise, creating silk flower garlands for weddings, festivals, and local markets.Backed by access to training, financial support, and schemes like Sanjeevini and GPLF, she developed not just her business, but the confidence to manage finances, repay loans, and plan for growth.

Today, she earns a steady income, actively participates in multiple markets, and supports her children’s education. Bringing stability and dignity to her household. Recognised for her progress, she was awarded the Second Prize of ₹1,00,000 under the Award to Reward initiative. Through WEP (NITI Aayog), this initiative continues to empower many more women like Ashwathamma, enabling them to build independent, resilient, and sustainable futures.

We are proud to share that Jyoti Sharma, CEO of Nasscom Foundation, was recognised with the ‘Impact Innovator of the Year’ award at the Annual CSR Summit 2026 in Bengaluru, hosted by Today Forum.

The summit brought together leaders from corporates, nonprofits, government, philanthropy, and social enterprises to collectively reimagine the role of CSR in building sustainable and inclusive impact. This recognition reflects a shared commitment towards leveraging technology for social good and creating pathways that enable communities to participate meaningfully in India’s digital future.

We thank the organisers for this honour and remain committed to driving inclusive, technology-led impact at scale.

What if technology could do more than connect devices?

What if it could connect people to possibility?

That belief became Nasscom Foundation.

And over the last 25 years, the work unfolded far from the spotlight: inside classrooms, across communities, through livelihoods, and within stories of resilience from the last mile.

Simply put, meaningful impact isn’t built overnight.
It grows steadily, quietly, intentionally.

One learner becoming confident.
An entrepreneur becoming independent.
A community getting skilled together.

Today, over 6 million lives later, the belief still holds true, technology matters most when it creates access.

On National Technology Day, we celebrate not just innovation, but inclusion.

25 years down.
The next chapter begins now.

Building Stronger Pathways for Scaled Impact

The Nasscom Foundation Annual Partners’ Meet 2026 focused on one priority: strengthening how we deliver impact — together.

Through focused discussions, partner insights, and leadership perspectives, the meet drove clearer alignment on programme expectations, sharper approaches to measurement and storytelling, and stronger consistency in implementation.

What this enabled
– Clearer direction for partners
– Improved alignment across programmes
– More structured, collaborative ex*****on at scale

As we move forward, impact will be defined not just by scale, but by relevance, rigour, and the strength of our partnerships.

When storytelling becomes the difference between being seen and being felt.

At the Annual Partners’ Meet – 2026, Bidisha Fouzdar led a session on ‘Strengthening Visibility and Storytelling for Impact’ — bringing one idea to the centre of the room:

“Statistics inform, but stories move.”

Through her session, she unpacked a reality many NGOs face:
Impact is often communicated through numbers, reports, and statistics.

But what truly creates connection is how those numbers are translated into stories.

Because people do not immediately relate to solutions.

They first connect with people.
With a face, a name, and a lived experience.

Using examples and real scenarios, she showed how storytelling bridges that gap — turning data into something human, relatable, and memorable.

📌 The conversation also explored:
- Ensuring thoughtful donor visibility.
- Building narratives without losing accuracy.
- Challenges in capturing impact from the field.
- Balancing timely communication with layered approvals.
- Creating content that is engaging, privacy-conscious, and contextually relevant.
- And how Implementation Partners and Nasscom Foundation can work collaboratively to amplify voices from the ground.

What made the session stand out was also the energy in the room.

Participants did not just listen — they responded, and shared their own on-ground challenges, making it a truly collaborative and interactive exchange.

Engaging, insight-led, and visually rich, the session also sparked interest in continuing these conversations through more regular, possibly monthly, engagements.

A reminder that stayed with everyone:
If a story is not told in a way people can feel, even the most powerful impact can go unnoticed.

Somewhere between the sessions and conversations at the ‘Annual Partners’ Meet,’ there was a quieter shift in the room.

Because this part was not about what is planned next...
it was about what has already been built, step by step, over time.

Through our IP Awards, we recognised partners who have been a steady part of that journey, showing up in different ways, across different kinds of work.

🏆 Deepam Education Empowerment Trust (DEED) — Legacy Partnership Award

🏆 Quantum Learning — Excellence in Governance & Compliance Award

🏆 Seventh Sense — Impact Storytelling Award

🏆 Head Held High Foundation — Grassroots Impact Excellence Award

🏆 Deepam Education Empowerment Trust (DEED) — Grassroots Impact Excellence Award

Different roles. Same intent.
And a reminder that real impact is never built alone.

👏🏼 Congratulations to all our awardees!

We are proud to be building this work alongside you.

At the Annual Partnership Meet, discussions on skilling and employability focused on both access and relevance. With a significant proportion of learners coming from Tier 2 and 3 regions, implementation partners play a critical role in bridging the digital divide and expanding last-mile access to learning.

The session by Dr. Abhilasha Gaur, CEO, IT-ITeS SSC nasscom, highlighted the need to strengthen industry-aligned curricula, invest in faculty upskilling, and build early digital awareness - while continuing to scale grassroots initiatives that bring opportunities closer to underserved communities.
