# # About the Internship
We are looking for 10 passionate and socially responsible individuals** who want to use their communication and networking skills to make a real difference in the lives of underprivileged patients.
As a **Fundraising & Social Impact Intern**, you will work with our NGO/Foundation to support **urgent medical treatment campaigns of financially disadvantaged patients** who are struggling to arrange funds for their healthcare.
Your role will be to connect with **industries, corporate offices, companies, shops, business owners, professionals, HNI individuals and other potential donors** and encourage them to support genuine medical treatment cases.

Every successful donor interaction can potentially help a patient receive the treatment they urgently need.
You will get an opportunity to contribute towards making the **medical ecosystem more accessible and compassionate for underprivileged patients**.

# # Key Responsibilities
* Identify potential **individual, corporate and HNI donors** who may be willing to support medical treatment campaigns.
* Reach out to **industries, offices, companies, shops, business owners, professionals and individuals** through calls, WhatsApp, email and other communication channels.
* Create awareness about genuine and urgent medical cases requiring financial assistance.
* Explain patient stories, treatment requirements and fundraising needs to potential donors.
* Build meaningful relationships with donors and supporters.
* Schedule meetings and presentations with potential corporate and individual donors.
* Follow up with potential donors and convert genuine fundraising opportunities into support for patients.
* Explore **CSR, corporate giving and individual donation opportunities**.
* Maintain records of donor conversations, follow-ups and fundraising activities.
* Coordinate with the internal team regarding patient campaigns and donor requirements.
* Maintain professionalism, honesty and transparency while representing the NGO/Foundation.

We are looking for people who:
* Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Are confident speaking with new people.
* Are passionate about **social work and helping people in need**.
* Have an interest in fundraising, sales, business development or the NGO/social-impact sector.
* Are comfortable making calls and approaching new organizations/individuals.
* Are willing to learn donor communication and fundraising techniques.
* Can take initiative and work independently.
* Have basic knowledge of WhatsApp, Google Sheets/MS Excel and email.

You do not need to be an experienced fundraiser.
