Our group of adults thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the Museum of Solutions (MuSo) in Lower Parel, thoughtfully organized by the sibling of one of our special adults. Although designed as a children’s museum to ignite curiosity, creativity, and problem solving skills, it sparked the same sense of wonder and curiosity in our adults with special intellectual needs. They embraced every activity with enthusiasm, making the most of each experience. The visit was both energizing and meaningful, as evidenced by their sharing delightful stories filled with amazement and joy on their return!

Our long awaited exhibition brought eager visitors capitalizing on the opportunity to pick up our diverse products, crafted with much love and dedication by our special adults. We were especially honored by the presence of Ms. Vilur Shapoorjee, Founder Trustee - Anchorage & AWMH, and Ms Anaxi Shah, Founder President - SMILE, whose inspiring presence uplifted and encouraged everyone.

Our delicious edibles were a big hit, drawing many eager buyers . Alongside them, our wide range of charming handcrafted creations, including beautiful bags, elegantly printed stoles, picture frames, pouches, coasters, indoor plants, motivated enthusiastic purchases. A heartfelt thank you to all our dear patrons for your continued love and support! 💛

An enchanting magic show that captivated our special adults was just one of the thoughtful surprises arranged by the Kindred Foundation to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day with us. Lovely balloon creations, created in beautiful colors and shapes, brought further joy to the adults as they adorned themselves with the same. The celebration became more meaningful with the participation of students from the Mumbai Central BMC School for Special Children, whose presence added to the joy and excitement. Thank you Kindred Foundation for your wonderful contribution to this special day!!

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a lifelong condition that affects communication, behavior, and social interaction, with each person experiencing it differently.

Autism Awareness Day is celebrated today to help reduce stigma, and encourage the acceptance and inclusion of individuals with autism. Today, we are sharing key terms related to autism for better understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals with ASD and their caregivers.

Supporting them involves being patient, inclusive, creating comfortable environments, and focusing on their abilities. Let us together take the necessary steps in this direction!

The annual 'picnic' is always a highly anticipated event at Ksh*tij. Spanning two nights, it offers our special adults a wonderful opportunity to experience a new environment and enjoy time away from their parents’ supervision. This year’s destination, Gold Valley @ Lonavala, provided the perfect setting for fun and relaxation, alongside their teachers. From swimming and dancing to boat rides and visits to temples and Mapro Garden, the trip was filled with activities everyone loves. It turned out to be yet another truly memorable picnic! 🌿✨
