“No one had ever asked us to create a song before.” 🦋

Every Tuesday evening, 30 children from our Night Care Center have been gathering from 7:00 to 8:00 PM for something truly special: music! 🎶

Through Children's Hope India’s collaboration with Manzil Mystics, the Sessions turned music into pure play for our children—packed with interactive games, movement, hands-on activities, and endless laughter. At our center, the enthusiasm said it all: every single child wanted in.

Children who once hesitated to speak up are now standing tall, singing during assembly, and leading group performances. As one child shared, no one had ever asked them to create a song before. When Dada and Tai from Manzil Mystics warmly encouraged them to try, the joy was instant. Following the principle of “learning by doing,” they’ve since written songs on all kinds of topics! 🎵✨

The best part? Our children are now working on an original song alongside the experts at Manzil Mystics.

Stay tuned for the official release coming very soon. 🎧👇

At Prerana, we’ve always championed sharing knowledge and building a stronger ecosystem of social work.

Recently, when Snehalaya reached out to us to conduct training sessions for their staff, we were thrilled!

Our team spent two days with 30 dedicated child care professionals, social workers, and counselors at Snehalaya’s campus in Ahmednagar.

The activity-heavy workshops were designed to address core, ground-level legal and procedural challenges and share and learn from each others experiences.

Over the two days, we covered:
✍️ Writing effective Social Investigation Reports (SIRs) under the JJ Act
⚖️ Navigating the POCSO Act & POCSO Rules 2020
🤝 The role of a Support Person (SP) in general and during court trials
📁 Best practices in documentation and case file maintenance for SPs

Through role-plays, group presentations, and lively discussions, the Snehalaya team brought incredible energy, deep curiosity, and valuable insights to every session.

We were deeply impressed by their remarkable scale, curiosity and warm hospitality.

Strengthening grassroots workers is a vital step toward a safer environment for every child! 🌟

Stay tuned for more updates from the ground. 🌱

When NavGurukul first pitched their residential programs to our students, the room was filled with curiosity—and a few fair doubts! 💡

To help our students and parents make an informed choice, we organized an exposure visit to NavGurukul’s Pune Campus. A group of eager students, supportive parents, and our staff members tagged along to explore the campus firsthand and experience life on ground.

A huge thank you to the NavGurukul team for conducting a detailed orientation, guiding us through their infrastructure, and addressing every query with complete transparency! 🙌✨

🎓 We are thrilled to announce that four of our 12th-grade graduates have cleared the rigorous entrance exams and interviews to secure admission into NavGurukul’s School of Business and School of Finance!

With access to laptops, comprehensive study materials, safe housing, nutritious meals, and expert mentorship, we know our students are equipped for success and in great hands. 🚀

Join us in wishing them the very best as they embark on this transforming journey, and stay tuned for regular updates on their campus life and career progress! 🍀🌟

Real change begins with a girl who finds the confidence to speak up for the first time.” 🌱

On June 24th, Children’s Hope India and Prerana officially launched the SHE SHINE Project for school- and college-going girls whose mothers live in red-light areas.

SHE SHINE is designed to build their confidence and skills through sustained mentorship and interactive workshops on 21st-century skills, physical & mental health, digital literacy, financial literacy, career readiness, and leadership! 🌟

Highlights from an Unforgettable Day:
🎗️ Unveiling the SHE SHINE banner alongside our inspiring Guests of Honour, Mrs. Urmila Jadhav (JJB Member, Mumbai City) and Youth Leader Ms. Hafiza.
🎤 Hearing young girls find their voices to share their big dreams of becoming leaders and role models.
👩‍👧 Hearing mothers speak with deep emotion about the bright, independent futures they envision for their daughters.
🤝 Pledging support alongside Mandeep Kaur from TribesforGOOD to build a strong, supportive community network.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this launch so special. Here’s to watching them SHINE! ✨👑

Stay tuned for more updates from the program.

Every child deserves a childhood, not a case file. 🌱

A huge shoutout for our for their relentless work on the ground! Through their community outreach initiatives, they aren’t just visiting neighborhoods—they are actively keeping families together.

Every child has the fundamental right to grow up safe, loved, and supported within their own family and community, rather than in an institution.

By empowering families at the root level, we are preventing unnecessary separations and ensuring that home remains a safe haven.

Thank you for championing family-based care and standing up for our children every single day. 🙌

When a Support Person stopped the imminent marriage of 16-year-old Sakshi (name changed), they upheld the law and protected a child.

But it came at the cost of breaking years of rapport-building and trust, and invited anger and resentment from the family. ⛓️‍💥

This case study explores the fragile boundary between being a family’s trusted ally and a statutory enforcer of the law. ⚖️

When a crisis forces you to choose between a relationship and a child’s immediate safety, how do you handle the fallout? More importantly, how do you keep supporting a family that feels burned by the system? 🔍

“Adoption isn’t just placement. It’s home studies, assessments, documentation, counselling — and it doesn’t stop once a child moves in.”

A big thank you to Sunil Arora (Executive Director, Bal Asha Trust ) for walking our youth fellows through the functioning of Specialized Adoption Agencies (SAAs), institutional care, adoption services, family strengthening, restoration and reintegration, nutrition, education, and community-based child development.
