Westsport Social Services operates Westport Meals on Wheels service and Boutique Charity Shop on Mill Road, Westport.

Lunch Club Coordinator/Clerical Officer Vacancy!
Westport Social Services (Westport Meals on Wheels) has a vacancy for the role of Lunch Club Coordinator/Clerical Officer (Part Time) starting mid April 2026.
We hope to recruit a caring, outgoing person who will organise suitable and enjoyable activities for our older persons group that meet every Wednesday and Friday in our venue and is good at basic administration, using Microsoft Word, Excel and proficient in email and internet. Training will be provided.

"The Friends Lunch Club" was set up by Westport Social Services to reduce isolation for older people in Westport and surrounding areas. It provides a lunch, chat, sometimes music, craft, bingo, other suitable entertainment. The group let the Coordinator know what they are interested in and the coordinator lines up a schedule of entertainment for the group. The coordinator and volunteers host the group on Wednesdays and Fridays. The coordinator carries out clerical tasks at other times, when the group is not in the venue.
