Hi all,
Todays update is with a very heavy heart. Susan passed away peacefully at home yesterday. She was surrounded by her amazing husband Brian and her two beautiful daughters Katie and Caoimhe - just as she wanted it.
Susan's family and friends have at all times been so grateful and overwhelmed by the generosity of you all here over the past few months. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
It was somewhat touching that Niamh Heneghan's charity walk was just approaching Leenane when the news came in. Thank you to Niamh and family for your efforts yesterday.
Susan was incredibly lucky to have an amazing care team around her. Words are never going to be enough to explain what these incredible people have done over the past few years.
This fundraiser was set up to ensure Susan got the care she needed at home. You all got behind it and gave so generously and we are all eternally grateful to your beautiful hearts and generous spirits. Thanks to you one and all x
