A gentle reminder of dog fouling fine increasing.

From 1st September, the fixed penalty fine for dog fouling, will increase to €250.

When out walking your dog:

✔️ Always pick up after them.
🗑️ Use a public bin where available.
🏡 No bin nearby? Take it home with you.

Let’s all do our part to keep parks, beaches and public spaces clean, safe and welcoming for everyone. 💙

Help keep Waterford clean for everyone.🐾

From 1st September, the fixed penalty fine for littering, including dog fouling, will increase to €250.

☀️A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Passage East Festival. It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying the day, and the atmosphere from start to finish was amazing☀️

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Dunk Tank had to be closed for the remainder of the day and couldn't continue as planned. We sincerely apologise to anyone who was looking forward to taking part and appreciate your understanding.

Despite this, the day was a huge success, with plenty of fun had at all the other events. From the live music and family activities to the games, food, and community spirit, it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, participants, and everyone who helped make the festival such a memorable day. We couldn't do it without your support, and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!
