Tramore is a seaside resort in the south east of Ireland. Proximity to Waterford has led to major population growth over recent years and Tramore is now a thriving town of ove

r 10,000 people. The town has many facilities for both residents and tourists. Tramore’s beach is renowned throughout Ireland and in recent times it has become one of the country’s major surfing centres. CADAUJAC
Cadaujac is a town of over 6,000 population in the Gironde department of south western France. It is located in the Graves wine region and the surrounding area is extremely picturesque with vineyards and chateaux stretching for miles. There is also a typically French community spirit in the town with festivals being held throughout the year for the people of Cadaujac. Tramore Town Council formally twinned with the Mairie of Cadaujac by resolution in late 2009 and the first visit from Tramore to France took place in June 2010. The day-to-day working of the twinning is handled by “Tramore Town Twinning Committee" and “Cadaujac Sans Frontieres”, independent organisations supported by the respective local authorities. Since the first visit in 2010, many friendships have been made and there is now a real link between the two communities. Town Twinning is open to all members of the community, either as individuals or as members of clubs or groups. If you have an interest in Twinning, contact us.
