Come and sit with me and our ancestors under the light of the Full Moon. 🌕✨
I invite you to join us for an evening of sea, ceremony, community, and connection as we gather beneath the Harvest Moon on the shores of Booley Bay.
Only days after the Autumn Equinox, we gather beneath the Full Harvest Moon, at a threshold in the year as light begins to give way to darkness. Traditionally a moon of gathering and gratitude, the Harvest Moon invites us to recognise what has ripened in our own lives, give thanks for what has sustained us, and consider what we wish to carry into the darker half of the year. 🌾🍂
What we will share together:
🌬️ Grounding and opening of sacred space
🌊 Optional sea dip or paddle at your own pace
🔥🌸🍃 Ceremony with fire, flowers, or leaves depending on conditions
🔥 A separate little fire for the kids if conditions allow
🙏 We call out the surnames of our ancestors, welcome them to our side, and offer oats to the land in gratitude for the paths they walked before us.
💚 Time to connect and share in a warm, welcoming community
What to bring:
• Warm layers and dry clothes
• Flask of tea, coffee, or cacao
• Snacks for sharing
• Blanket or cushion
• Optional journal, instruments, or offering
Recommended Contribution €10–€20 per adult
For those bringing children, if you feel able to lean toward the higher end of the contribution (€15–€20 per adult), it helps support the extra ceremonial items, marshmallows, and treats for the little ones, and is very much appreciated 🙏
We gather every New and Full Moon to honour the tides, the seasons, and those who came before us. Join us as we give thanks for the harvest and welcome the turning of the season. 🌕🌾🍂
