🌕🌾 Full Grain Moon Sea Dip and Sacred Ceremony
Booley Bay, Thursday August 27th @ 8.30 pm
Mo chairde, my friends…
Tar agus suigh liom faoin ngealach lán.
Come and sit with me under the Full Moon. 🌕✨
I invite you to join us for an adults only evening of sea, ceremony, community, and connection as we gather beneath the Grain Moon on the shores of Booley Bay.
The Grain Moon speaks of harvest, abundance, and gathering what has ripened, inviting us to honour what has grown and give gratitude for what we’ve received. This year brings an added touch of magic as, only hours after we gather, the Moon begins its passage through Earth’s shadow in a partial lunar eclipse, bringing us to the threshold between illumination and shadow and inviting us to gently release what we’re ready to leave behind.
What we will share together:
🌬️ Grounding and opening of sacred space
🌊 Optional sea dip or paddle at your own pace
🔥🌸🍃 Ceremony with fire, flowers, or leaves depending on conditions
🙏 We call out the surnames of our ancestors, welcome them to our side, and offer oats to the land in gratitude for the paths they walked before us.
💚 Time to connect and share in a warm, welcoming community
What to bring:
• Warm layers and dry clothes
• Flask of tea, coffee, or cacao
• Snacks for sharing
• Blanket or cushion
• Optional journal, instruments, or offering
Recommended Contribution €10–€20 per adult
In the spirit of Ayni, other contributions such as non-treated wood, flowers, leaves, or items for ceremony are also welcome.
Your genuine, authentic self and presence is the true offering.
We gather every New and Full Moon to honour the tides, the seasons, and those who came before us.
Join us as we celebrate the final Full Moon of the summer months, gathering beneath the Grain Moon before she begins her journey into shadow. 🌕🌾✨
You’re very welcome 🙏
Grá Mór agus Síocháin,
Daniel 🌕🌊✨
