As Halloween approaches, we're reminding everyone of the dangers fireworks pose to people, pets, wildlife and our environment.

🐕 Pets: Loud bangs can cause extreme fear and distress. Frightened animals may panic, escape from their homes or injure themselves trying to hide.

🦔 Wildlife: Hedgehogs, birds and other wild animals can be terrified, injured or killed by fireworks. Bonfires are also particularly dangerous for hedgehogs seeking shelter.

👧 People: Fireworks can cause serious burns, eye injuries and hearing damage, particularly when handled irresponsibly.

🌿 Environment: Fireworks release smoke, pollutants and debris, which can harm wildlife and litter our green spaces.

Let's make Halloween safer for everyone!

Clean up at the earlier time of 5:45 tomorrow evening. All welcome 🙏
