Everything is set for a great evening of fun, laughs, friendly competition, and community spirit as we raise funds for our athletes heading to the Special Olympics Ireland Summer Games 2026 💙❤️

A huge thank you to the Strandhill Warriors Committee for sponsoring our athlete Joseph to attend the Special Olympics Ireland Games this summer 💙❤️

Joe has been a dedicated volunteer at the Warriors Run each summer, so to now be supported by the Warriors Committee on his journey to the Ireland Games is a very special privilege. Your generosity and encouragement have made Joe incredibly happy as he prepares for this amazing experience!

We would also like to give a very special mention to Coolera Dramatic Society for sponsoring our wonderful volunteer Patsy to attend this year’s Special Olympics Ireland Games as a chaperone. This support helps ensure the wellbeing and safety of our athletes and contributes greatly to the smooth running of the Games.

🌟 Support Our Nightriders on the Road to the Summer Games 🌟

Nightriders Special Olympics Riding Club is a volunteer‑led equestrian club based in Sligo, supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities to train, compete, and reach their full potential through sport. Through inclusive weekly training, we help our athletes build confidence, independence, and pride, supported every step of the way by dedicated volunteers, families, and our local community.

🏅 This June, four of our athletes have qualified to compete at the Special Olympics Ireland in Dublin, a phenomenal achievement and a once‑in‑a‑lifetime opportunity to represent on the national stage.

To make this possible, we are fundraising to cover essential costs including accommodation, transport, team clothing, and athlete support. These funds help remove financial barriers for families and ensure our athletes can compete with courage, dignity, and pride.

💛 Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference. Your support shows our riders that their community is behind them and helps turn months of hard work and dedication into an unforgettable experience.
