Praise God in Burundi is 9. She and her family were thrilled to receive Christmas Shoeboxes. She unwrapped notebooks, colouring pencils, sweets, toys, toothpaste, a toothbrush, soap, a cap, underwear, and socks🧦 .
“I am so grateful! We are so thankful and happy” she said, her eyes sparkling with joy.

Every Tea Party held for Team Hope helps create stories like Suavis' ❤️
A few years ago, Suavis and her husband Bosco struggled to provide for their nine children. School costs, healthcare and putting food on the table were daily worries.
Everything began to change when Suavis joined a community savings group supported through Team Hope's community development work. With training, determination and a dream they shared together, the couple saved enough to start a tiny restaurant business.
Today, they serve more than 70 meals a day, can support their children's education, access healthcare when needed, and look to the future with hope.
It's amazing to think that something as simple as gathering colleagues and friends for a cup of tea can help make stories like this possible.

A few years ago, Suavis and Bosco struggled to provide for their nine children. School fees, healthcare and nutritious meals were constant worries.
Today, thanks to a Team Hope community savings group that Suavis joined and was trained by, they run a thriving restaurant serving more than 70 meals every day!
Their business has transformed life for their family, helping them support their children, improve their health and look to the future with confidence.
