👐 Family Lámh Course – Now Open for Expressions of Interest! 👐

We are delighted to announce that we will be running a Family Lámh Course at The Down Syndrome Centre Swords this autumn.

📅 Dates: Friday 23rd & 30th October and Friday 6th & 13th November 2026
🕙 Time: 10:00am-11.30am

This four-week course is a wonderful opportunity for parents, grandparents, siblings and other family members to learn Lámh signs together, helping to support communication at home and in everyday life.

There will be a small fee to participate, with the final cost dependent on the number of families who register and commit to attending.

🌸 A Heartfelt Thank You to Aoife from Harvest Blooms by Aoife! 🌸

A huge thank you to the wonderful Aoife from Harvest Blooms by Aoife for spending time with us at our Summer Camps in Swords. 💐

Aoife gave each of our children the opportunity to create their very own beautiful flower arrangement, taking the time to support every child individually and ensuring everyone experienced the joy of creating something special.

The pride on their faces as they proudly presented their floral masterpieces to their mums at the end of camp was simply priceless. 💖

Thank you, Aoife, for your kindness, patience and generosity. You helped create beautiful memories that our children and families will treasure for a long time to come.

We are delighted to invite you and your baby to join us for a 5-week Baby Massage Course here at The Down Syndrome Centre, Swords, beginning on Tuesday, September 15th from 10:00am – 11:30am🌟🐤

The course will be led by Gráinne Power, a highly experienced Neo-Natal Nurse from Crumlin Hospital, who will gently guide parents through the different strokes and benefits of baby massage in a calm and supportive environment.

An equally important part of the morning will be the opportunity to enjoy a cup of tea and chats afterwards — a chance to connect with like-minded parents and share your journey so far in a warm and welcoming space. Both parents are very welcome to attend.

Course Details:
• Start Date: Tuesday, September 15th
• Time: 10:00am – 11:30am
• Duration: 5 consecutive weeks
• Cost: €140 for the full course
