!! AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION !!

Meet Gadget

This sweet girl is approximately 5 years old.

She has been with Cats Aid since she was taken in as a kitten. While initially somewhat keeping her distance with humans, she has made great progress and now enjoys starting her day with plenty of pets and attention from her foster parents.

Gadget loves to play chase with the resident cats (she’s a speed demon!) and birdwatching is her go-to hobby – she can often be found perched at the back door keeping a close eye on the bird feeder and all activities in the garden. Gadget also enjoys hunting, but her prey is limited to ants or small flying insects.

Her favourite treat is cheese, and her foster parents have learned to put all dairy products back in the fridge before she can discover them! Gadget is a fearless conqueror! Any boxes, cardboard, bag, hoodie, or a sock… left on the floor will be claimed and released against a ransom of cuddles. Lounging atop her new territory, she earned the royal title of Queen of the boxes. Future owners be warned 😸

She will thrive in a quiet, indoor-only home with a patient owner that is willing to build a strong bond at her pace and give her the attention she enjoys, possibly with another cat that also enjoys chase and playtime.

Gadget is in perfect health, with microchip and vaccinations up to date, along with her blood tests – all she needs now is to find the right forever home! This forever home would be preferably a household with no young children.

If you think you are the right family for Gadget, please get in touch with Cat's Aid via email : [email protected]

Thank you.

This is Ruby

She was rescued as a kitten from a wild patch of garden, about 10 years ago. At the time, she was afraid of her own shadow.

She was with a Cats Aid foster for a few months.

She was then adopted by Grace, who kindly gave Ruby a lovely home where a lot of work had to be done to win her trust.

She turned out to be a beautiful cat, winning her medals at the Pedigree Cat show in Ballinteer.

She achieved Master Cat last Autumn and then Grand Master 4th May this year.

Well done Ruby, and thank you, Grace, for your patience and dedication to Ruby and for the many years of support to Cat's Aid.
