📣 Young people involved in youth work, we want to hear from you!

National Youth Council of Ireland is undertaking a new national research study to assess the Socio-Economic Value of Youth Work in Ireland, and the voices of young people are central to this research.

If you take part in a youth club, project, programme or other youth work activity, complete the National Youth Council of Ireland National Youth Survey and share your experiences, opinions and ideas.

The survey takes around six minutes to complete, and the club, group or programme with the highest number of completed surveys will receive €250.

The study is being carried out by S3 Solutions on behalf of NYCI. It builds on landmark research from 2012 and will provide updated evidence on the economic and social value delivered by the youth work sector across Ireland.

Deadline is the 31st July.

Foróige’s Regional Leadership for Life Conferences are taking place across the country, giving young people the chance to build confidence, develop new skills and connect with others.

Today, Foróige young people came together to celebrate Pride 2026 with colour, community and plenty of joy.

Alongside the music, dancing and celebrations, the day was about something even more important. Creating a space where every young person can feel seen, supported and free to be themselves.

✨️ Traveller Pride 2026 was a powerful celebration of culture, identity and belonging across Foróige.

Nationally, Foróige projects marked the occasion in ways that were meaningful, creative and rooted in pride, culture and community.

From events and activities to conversations and displays, it was wonderful to see so many projects taking the opportunity to recognise and celebrate Traveller Pride.

Foróige is privileged to work with young people from Traveller communities across our organisation. These young people, along with their families and communities, bring immense richness, diversity and cultural strength to our projects and to the wider Foróige community. Traveller Pride gave us a valuable opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate that contribution.

A huge well done to everyone who organised, supported and took part in the celebrations across Foróige.
