Benji shares how he feels a gender neutral bathroom is a great way to create an environment with safe space.

People often suffer with fears around using bathrooms when it comes to safety and gender neutral bathrooms show that people are considered and thought of leaving them feeling safer and at ease.

**WHY ENTHEOS EXISTS**

I received this beautiful message of support & gratitude today, and it couldn't have been more perfectly timed!!

Sometimes people come to Emtheos either for Celebrant Training or for a Ceremomy, thinking it will follow the same structures as other Ceremonial Bodies.

The entire point of this lrganisation is that we are NOT bound by the rules of how it's "always done".

We love finding new ways to support our communities through Ceremony, and everyday activism is an important part of that.

Looking forward to starting a new Phase 3 tomorrow!! 😍🍉🥰❤️🍉❤️

The Unity / Family Candle

In this tradition, the couple (or their parent/friend) light a candle to represent all the light and love they bring into the world as individuals, and that they will carry forward into their marriage. The flame is taken from the Remembrance candle, and will later light the Unity/Marriage candle. If the couple have children, they may like to light a candle for each child, using the flame from their unity candle.

“Let us remember; One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world.” - Malala Yousafzai

World Teachers’ Day is held annually on 5 October to celebrate all teachers around the globe.

This year, World Teachers’ Day celebrations will centre on the theme “Recasting teaching as a collaborative profession,” highlighting the transformative potential of collaboration for teachers, schools and education systems.

Reframing teaching as inherently collaborative – supported by policies, practices, and environments that value mutual support, shared expertise, and joint responsibility – is essential to strengthen teaching, learning, and teachers’ professional fulfilment.
