Beyond the Limerick Day Service and onto the farm 🌱🐄

Through social farming, Eoin and Wiktoria have found more than just new skills—they’ve built a meaningful connection with retired farmer Pat, his wife Anne, and the animals on the farm!

From hands-on learning to fresh air and time in nature, it’s been beneficial for everyone.

Social farming shows how inclusion and community engagement can take many forms.

Here’s to our fearless warrior Enda Gallager! 🛩️

Enda, who is a Service Owner of Enable Ireland Limerick Adult Services, has proved his determination, courage and bravery by completing a skydive for charity with The Irish Parachute Club (Skydive IPC)

His skydive was rescheduled on several occasions due to weather and other factors. However, Enda persevered and finally took to the skies last month.

Enda wants to inspire others to embrace life fully, follow their dreams, and remember that with determination and belief in yourself, anything is possible!

Ain't that the truth.

Enable Limerick Adult Services are immensely proud of you, Enda. 🙌🧡

⭐ Introducing Louis – the star of the TK Maxx & Homesense Ireland June charity campaign, in support of Enable Ireland! ⭐

Louis has attended Enable Ireland’s Children’s Disability Network Team in Wicklow since the age of two. From the beginning, Louis met with physiotherapists, while his family were put in touch with a councillor and social worker. That early support and expert guidance played an important role in helping them support Louis better.

Throughout June, TK Maxx and Homesense teams will be organising a range of fundraising activities in support of Enable Ireland. Customers will also be invited to make a donation at the till, with all funds raised supporting our children’s services.

They also have a fantastic charity range. At least 30% of the sale price from every item in this range goes directly to Enable Ireland to help provide services including physiotherapy, assistive technology, early intervention and family support.

Every purchase and donation helps support children like Louis to grow in confidence, independence and thrive. 🧡
