Say hello to the Brisbane 2032 Emblems! πŸ”₯

Inspired by Australia’s spirited cockatoos, the new Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Emblems bring together Queensland’s coastline and the energy of the Games flame.

The Paralympic Emblem takes its inspiration from the Sulphur crested Cockatoo, capturing its spirited character and distinctive yellow crest.

A new look for the Games ahead!

πŸ“Έ Paralympics Ireland President Lisa Clancy with our new ten year strategy, setting out our vision for the future of Para sport in Ireland.

A strategy focused on expanding opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sport, supporting Irish athletes to deliver world-class performances and using the power of Para sport to help build a more inclusive Ireland.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in bringing this landmark strategy to life.

Today, we launched the next chapter for Paralympics Ireland.

At the Sport Ireland Campus, we officially launched our new ten year strategy, setting out our ambition to expand opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sport, support Irish athletes to deliver world class performances and use the power of Para sport to help build a more inclusive Ireland.

The launch formed part of a joint Sports Forum with Sport Ireland, bringing together athletes, National Governing Bodies, Government, partners and representatives from across Irish sport.

A huge thank you to Minister Charlie McConalogue for joining us today and the team at Sport Ireland for hosting the Sports Forum alongside us, and to everyone who joined us for such an important day for Para sport in Ireland.

Now the work begins.

We Are MΓ³r. Live Limitless.

Katie-George Dunlevy and pilot Linda Kelly finished seventh in an incredibly tight Women’s B road race, crossing the line just seven seconds behind the winners after 82.8 km.

They fought for every second, but today it just wasn’t to be. They leave Huntsville as World Champions after securing their fourth consecutive individual time trial title.
