A lovely, free course from Body. Brain. Belief CIC starts at the end of October.

Its designed for women who:
- May struggle with low confidence or anxiety
- Feel nervous about exercise group settings
- Dont feel "fit"
- Looking for a supportive environment

As a group you will all get to choose what activity you do the following week but these could include yoga, walking, boxing - whatever the group would like to do, together.

They offer lots of great courses such as this, take a look 😊

Well the last few weeks have been insanely busy as we celebrated two weeks ago with the SBHG Mutual Aid AGM, today we hosted our annual Party in the Park and we had an afternoon tea for 67 thrown in the middle.

Both brilliant - but these things take up so much time and energy we'll be looking forward to a couple of weeks that are a bit quieter before we get stuck in to some work that's also close to our hearts.

We couldn't do half of what we do without an incredible team of people who also believe in community, who want to create spaces of joy and who are willing to get stuck in to make it happen.

We love seeing people come together, have fun and smile.

Time to recharge and get ready for the second half of the year!

Wow what a week, feels like we've been steamrolling down a hill and we are ready for some rest.

It's got me thinking about how what people may see this week is a community space where people have a brew and a lovely chat and that's true. But it's also been thoughtfully curated over years of intentional building. We didn't just open a space and invite people in. We built trust in our community first. We moved from location to location with cars loaded up full of resources, we tested, we learned and things failed.

Some people get it. Some people see it and think they can do it and they may be right however you would be naive to believe that this is easy.

It is simple, but it is complex. It is joyful, but it can be stressful. It can seem obvious, but it is deep. It is celebrated, but it is also fragile.
