Well it's been a while.....not that we haven't been busy....just that we forget to post. Autumn is really upon us now and the summer crops have nearly been all removed from the tunnels, cabbage and salad going in hopefully for a crop (salad) this autumn and cabbage in the spring. Over the past few weeks we have been updating our outdoor sink area so it ready and fit for purpose for the winter. .most of it has been made with repurposed stuff, just a few bits of new wood were bought to support the roof.
Also over the summer we have hosted a few sessions from Lo-Fi Alchemists . Which went down well with our Thursday group. The chickens that we have added to continue to keep everyone amused and busy and we are now starting to clear the outside beds

Well august is nearly over and we have moved from scorching heat to pouring rain. We've managed to keep some of the plants alive and have a cracking crop of tomatoes for sale at the moment. In between we been doing some renovations on the sink, celebrating birthdays, making apple juice and enjoying some art courtesy of alchemists 😊

A bit of a lull in the weather so we have finally been doing some work 😂 renovations of the sink area going on and we are sorting out the last of the annual crops pitting on the chilli peppers.... hopefully 🤞 we will have some ripe tomatoes next week

It's been a hot 🥵 one this week. We have been keeping everything hydrated....watering plants, eating ice creams whilst sat in the shade and we have fed the chickens frozen peas !

Well that's the end of a hot week, we haven't posted for a while, but we have been busy celebrating birthdays, getting all the summer crops ready and planted out and watching the resident blue tits..the photo was captured by one of you g ladies. We can hear the chicks chirping away inside, they might fledge this weekend

This week the birthday season continues 😊, we have welcomed some more rescue chickens 🐔 and been busy planting for the new season 😁
