It is with great sadness, that Wakefield Gilbert and Sullivan Society have this evening voted to dissolve the Society.

Our first singing rehearsal last night! Nice to see everybody again and good to run through most of Yeomen of the Guard!

The Society said goodbye to one of our members today.
Sandal Methodist Church was full and in good voice.
Goodbye and sleep well, Richard Briggs.
Our thoughts are with his wife, Nadine and son, Mark, and the rest of the family.

The Society is pleased to announce that we shall be performing The Yeomen of the Guard on 27th and 28th March 2026 at Sandal Methodist Church.
Singing rehearsals will start on Tuesday 7th October with floor rehearsals starting in the New Year.
