We have gorgeous, huge punnets of strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, jersey royals, and plenty of other fresh produce that arrived this am!

Due to the current treacherous state of many of the local roads and pavements and the poor weather forecast for tomorrow evening the WHS Committee have reluctantly decided to cancel tomorrows talk FS Mockford – Air Radio Pioneer due to be given by Dale Mockford.

Fantastic news - beautiful new floor and 100 brand new chairs ready to welcome you when you next visit the Commemoration Wadhurst Commemoration Hall & Field! Great job, well done to everyone that made it happen.

🎉 Happy New Year from Wadhurst Institute Hall & Field! 🎉

We’re delighted to announce that the Commemoration Hall will reopen on Sunday 4 January following our Christmas closure.

Over the break, we’ve installed a brand-new hall floor, based on the feedback many of you kindly shared last year, thank you! We believe this is a major upgrade that will benefit the Hall for many years to come.

We’re also pleased to share that:
🏸 Badminton court lines will be installed on Monday 5 January
🪑 100 new, comfortable, modern chairs have arrived for everyone to enjoy

We look forward to welcoming you all back to your regular sessions very soon!

So, get your sparkle on and join us for mulled wine, mince pies and a jolly good chick flick! Doors and bar open at 7pm, film starts at 7.45. Tickets just £6 on the door, cash and card accepted.
