The lake water is now being tested, so can you please ensure children and dogs keep away from the water’s edge and do not go into the lake. If you see any further dead wildlife, please contact the Park Keeper immediately on 07743 915719.

Sadly at the park today we found five dead ducks and two injured (we have been unable to catch). Can we please remind everyone to stay on the lake path and not go into the dry lake as this is very distressing for the wildfowl. The hot weather and low water may also make the water unsafe. If anyone sees anything suspicious please contact the police as they are working hard to protect the wildlife. If you see any dead wildfowl please let the Park Gardener know. His office is behind the cafe. 🦆🪿🦅
