Thank you to everyone that braced the wind, rain and then sun to come to our cake sale. The tables were groaning with delicious cakes, scones etc and almost all were sold ☺️

Last Friday (10th April) members had the opportunity to practice Silk Painting led by our speaker Elitta Fell. Silk Painting is an ancient art, developed centuries ago by the Chinese and Japanese masters We used three basic colours - Magenta, Cyan and Yellow and used pre printed silk designs. Despite some of the the members using the same design all were very different.
