💙♻️ INTRODUCING… TAIN GALA ReLoved! ♻️💙

Remember when we said we were looking at new ideas and different ways of making Tain Gala more sustainable for the future?

Well… here’s one of the first little ideas we’re going to try! 👀

Tain Gala ReLoved will be our new pop-up filled with good-quality pre-loved items looking for a new home – giving people the chance to grab a bargain while helping us raise funds to put straight back into our community.

But ReLoved isn’t just about fundraising. 🌱

It’s also about reusing more, wasting less and giving perfectly good items another life rather than seeing them go to landfill.

We’re going to start small, learn as we go and see where it takes us – with our first ReLoved pop-up at the Tain Community Market on Saturday 19th September, 10am–2pm. 🎉

And remember, this is just one small part of the different ideas we’re exploring to help Tain Gala become more sustainable and allow us to do more throughout the year.

A little reminder that our community consultation is still open, and we’d really love to hear from more of you! 💙

We’re working on plans to create more opportunities, activities and community spaces in Tain, and we want to make sure that what we develop is shaped by what our community actually wants and needs.

Whether you’re young or old, part of a local group, a parent, volunteer, business owner or simply someone who lives in the area — your views matter.

It only takes a few minutes to complete, and every response helps us build a clearer picture of what would benefit Tain and the surrounding community.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined our Car and Walking Treasure Hunt! We had a great turnout, and we loved seeing your team spirit, sharp minds, and creative routing in action!

💭 We need your help, Tain! 💙

Tain Gala is exploring an exciting idea for a flexible community space in Tain — somewhere that could bring people together throughout the year.

We’re thinking workshops and hobby groups, social drop-ins, activities for young people, affordable space for local tutors and groups, pop-ups for local makers and crafters, our ReLoved days… and hopefully plenty of ideas we haven’t even thought of yet! 🙌

But before we take things any further, we want to hear from you.
