For us at Gro, sustainability isn’t something that sits separately from what we do — it’s part of how we think about the future.
It’s about growing food and understanding where it comes from.
It’s about developing skills for the jobs and industries of the future.
It’s about creating opportunities locally, strengthening communities and making better use of the resources around us.
We’re putting these principles into practice across our Community Innovation Campus, with 50kW of solar power, air source heat technology and net zero growing technologies helping us reduce our environmental impact and explore more sustainable ways to grow, work and learn.
Through our growing spaces, training and community programmes, we want people of all ages to have opportunities to learn by doing — connecting environmental responsibility with real-life skills and experiences.
Because building a more sustainable Highlands isn’t only about protecting our environment.
It’s about giving people the skills, confidence and opportunities to be part of its future.
