Finding time to volunteer can be hard alongside work and family commitments. If you are looking for a short term volunteering opportunity over the festive period, applications for Christmas Care are open until November 1st.

Are you still considering volunteering with us over the Christmas period? It’s not too late to get your application in, and even if you can only do one shift, every single one helps. 🎄

📅 Applications close on Sunday 1st November. This gives us enough time to go through every application, match people to shifts and get back to you in plenty of time.

A big thanks to Best Mates for organising the second Community Impact Round Table this week, which gave us the opportunity to make new connections and strengthen existing ones.

💙 ONE. FINAL. DAY. 💙

Danny and Brad are heading into Day 5 — and the final day — of their incredible 250km walk from Swindon to Woolacombe!

It’s been an absolutely brutal few days for them. Blisters, sore toes, aching shoulders, back pain and the sheer exhaustion of putting one foot in front of the other across so many miles.

But they are still going!

And today, we really want to carry them through that final stretch with your support.

Whether it’s a message of encouragement, a share of this post or a donation to help raise vital funds for Big Breakfast Plus, every bit of support will give Danny and Brad another reason to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

They’ve walked an incredible distance for us already. Let’s make sure they know they’re not walking that final day alone.

Danny and Brad had an amazing first day of their 250km walk from Swindon to Woolacombe, covering an incredible 67km on day one!

They've already raised over £1,000 in sponsorship to support Big Breakfast Plus, and we couldn't be more grateful for their incredible effort.

But there are still 183km to go!

We’re really excited to have a stall at the Wanborough Show tomorrow!

There’s lots going on throughout the day, including the dog show, local traders and charity stalls, plus plenty to keep the kids entertained.

The show opens at midday, so come along, enjoy the day and say hello to the Big Breakfast Plus team while you’re there!

The show is running from 12pm- 6pm, tomorrow. 22nd August on the Church Meadow in Wanborough.

Entry Fee - Adults £8.50/ Concessions £5 / Children £4 / Children under 5 FREE / Parking £2 Family Ticket £25 (2 adults & 2 children)
Purchase tickets on the day / Cash & Card payments accepted on the gates

Parking is on the field, please enter by Lynch Field. Pedestrian access past the church please!
