Thank you to everyone behind the scenes

Not every act of kindness happens in the spotlight.

Every week, volunteers give their time in different ways to help Alternative Angels support around 200 people at the Pilgrim Centre. Some prepare hot meals or make sandwiches, while others help sort donations, set up, tidy away, offer a listening ear or simply make people feel welcome.

It is those small acts of kindness, repeated week after week, that help create a place where people know they will be treated with dignity, compassion and respect.

Thank you for an incredible day at The Wichel Inn

We are still feeling grateful after such a fantastic fundraising day at The Wichel Inn.
The support from the community was overwhelming. From everyone who came along during the day, donated tombola prizes, bought tickets, joined the quiz, enjoyed the live music,sang great songs, volunteered their time or helped spread the word, thank you.

Events like this make a real difference. Every conversation, donation and act of kindness helps Alternative Angels continue providing food, care and dignity to around 200 people each week.

A special thank you to The Wichel Inn Swindon for hosting us, and to everyone who helped make the event feel so warm, welcoming and full of community spirit. We are incredibly grateful.

Final call for The Wichel Inn fundraiser

Our fundraising event at The Wichel Inn Swindon is taking place this Saturday, 29 August, and we would love to see as many people there as possible.

Join us during the day for live music and tombolas, or gather a team for the evening quiz. However you choose to support, you will be helping Alternative Angels continue providing food, care and dignity to around 200 people each week.

We are still looking for donations for the tombola and bottle tombola, so please get in touch via Facebook Messenger if you can help.

Please share this with friends, family and anyone who enjoys a good community event.
