SWA was proud to help deliver the EVAWG Summit in Marlborough last week. You have probably seen the coverage of the attendance of HM Queen Camilla, and the presentations by key players in the world of ending violence against women and girls.
Inspirational words from the stage were uplifting for those working in this sector - much information was shared and connections made. The importance of organisations working together was stressed as we all try to do more with limited resources. The 400 delegates at the event left wiser and more determined than ever to do their part in addressing what was described as a 'National Emergency'.
Thanks to the organisers for bringing us all together, and a special shout-out to the SWA team who staffed the registration desks ... outside the hall in Friday's crazy weather!

❤️‍🔥 You did it! ❤️‍🔥

Our amazing Firewalkers walked the hot coals last night to bring an end to domestic abuse.

Just like a victim of domestic abuse starting their journey to become a Survivor, our Firewalkers faced their fears, built up the courage and took the hardest first step that then showed them they could make it all the way. All cheered on by friends and family who were with them every step of the way.

And we couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you ❤️‍🔥
