Our second liberation must be economic, social and moral. Government cannot do it alone, but it must lead, fund and coordinate alongside communities.

calls for properly resourced SAPS specialised women tasks teams working every day in villages, towns and cities to prevent and respond to domestic violence, GBV; education and counselling for men, boys, women and girls about abuse, consent and criminal behaviour; and effective investigation and prosecution so those convicted of the most serious crimes face the full force of the law⛔️

South Africa's past was scarred by violence and discrimination. Our present day & future must mean equality, dignity and equal protection under the Constitution and law.

The conversations throughout Mandela Week & Women's week reinforce a shared vision:
