Red House Coffee Morning In Support of Different Charities Weekly bingo, raffle & play your cards right at additional cost. Tea, Coffee, Juice and snacks provided for £2 cover charge.

Every Monday 10.30am til 12.30pm (exc Bank Holidays) we host a Coffee Morning for our local community to raise money for local charities all welcome. £2 entry includes cuppas & snacks. If you wish to bring in anything to share, you're more than welcome.

Want to say a massive thank you to everyone at the coffee morning today for my collection and especially the lovely words in my card it is very much appreciated. Thank you all for supporting the coffee morning and all the help you all do each week to support good causes. I love running the coffee morning and it is lovely to know how much you all do to and thanks for showing appreciation it means so much as you can see I was a little emotional and shocked at such a kind gesture.

This week's are the wonderful team at Red House Coffee Morning In Support of Different Charities who come together every Monday to raise money for local charities ☕

Back in March, one of their much-loved members, Sue, kindly nominated Maggie’s Newcastle to receive their donation. Sadly, Sue passed away before the group were able to present it, but it was truly special to welcome the ladies into the centre to donate in her memory.

Sue’s friends shared: "Sue always loved a laugh, a game of bingo, and was so supportive of us. She nominated Maggie’s Newcastle as March’s charity, so we felt it was only right to donate to them in her memory."

Keep up the great work all and thank you for remembering Sue in this special way🧡

The money raised in memory of Sue Stokoe was £243 off coffee morning members and Monday night members at the Redhouse community centre , £43 for a floral tribute and £200 is going to sues choice of charity Sunderland soup kitchen, would any members like to come with Sues sister Julia , to hand over the cash. ? ###

Update I realised after posting I didn't add Monday's money to the final total 🫣 and this has been added now so we raised more than initially stated.
I've counted up the money for Marie curie this month and we have raised £675.50 plus lotto money when it's won. Thanks everyone for all your support

As many of you know we lost one of our lovely coffee morning members on Thursday morning Sue Stokoe
Sue always loved a laugh, game of bingo and was so supportive of us. She nominated Maggie's Newcastle as March's charity so felt it was only right we would donate to them in her memory today. What an amazing amount of £826.65. We are all thinking of her lovely family especially today which would have been her birthday.
