IMPORTANT please share ‼️‼️‼️
Please can builders gardeners any works contractors etc be mindful when creating holes and digging foundations. A MINIMUM of 45 degree angle wide enough ramps should be placed in any excavations if they can’t be covered at night or when unattended to allow animals to escape if they fall in. This time of year it’s especially important, animals and babies are on the move looking desperately for water and food.
This poor innocent hog was found curled up in the bottom of some foundations with no escape at a disused site! Thankfully it was found by someone passing but god knows how long it’s been there. It’s been given fluids and seems to be doing well so hopefully should be back out on its way once it’s fully recovered. If no one was going past this could have been a miserable horrific end for this little love.
Do your bit, be a conscientious worker and company and be mindful of animals within whose habitat you may be affecting. Any hole from a small pot hole to a deep large excavation should be covered at night or whenever unattended or a 45 degree angles ramp put in especially where there is steep sides and water involvement.
