Guide Dogs Volunteers and Fundraising activities

🦮Last night we were once again privileged, to be able to fundraise at South Shields football club, before their match against Macclesfield FC.
We raised 🐾🐾£267.17 🐾🐾
⚽ A big "thank you" to all the fans, from both clubs and of course South Shields FC for inviting us.
🐾Thank you also, to our fabulous volunteers and of course our dogs/pups.
The photograph shows, 10 of our fabulous volunteers, in a line, alongside, Carl Mowatt Operations & Hospitality Director, also, Francesca Callebaut, General Manager of SSFC.
Our dogs pictured, are Working GD Belle, a Yellow, Golden Retriever x Lab,
Ambassador dog Rosie, a White Golden Retriever and Puppy in training, Molly, a light Yellow Lab x Retriever.

🦮We had a wonderful 2 days, at Asda Leechmere, in Grangetown, Sunderland.
A big thank you to George, the Community Champion, for allowing us to fundraise there. This store is a first for us and we hope to return in the near future 😀
We raised a great amount of ....

🦮Our group had 2 days fundraising, at Asda, in South Shields.
We raised 🐾 £1273.65 🐾 😀
Thank you to everyone, who supported us and to Asda, once again, for allowing us to fundraise.
Thank you, also, to our wonderful volunteers and our fab pups/dogs 🐾

🐾Yesterday, ( Feb 21st) we went along, to support Kathryn Forte with her fundraising event for Guide Dogs. 🐾Kathryn is doing the London Landmark Run in April.
🐾Kathryn raised £234.50 for her fundraising & we made £50, from the merchandise, we took along
🐾June, one of our lovely group, gave a talk about her sight loss journey and how she acquired her gorgeous guide dog, Lab/Retriever, Belle.
🐾Kathryn's mam, Sue, who used to be a puppy raiser, is now a speaker and fundraiser for Guide dogs, talked about what puppy raisers do and told some funny stories, from pups she'd had over the years.

Today, was the very first fundraising event of the year for us.
We were at Tesco, in South Shields and raised the wonderful amount of....
🐾 ***** £601.28 *****🐾
Thank you to everyone, who supported us 😀 Especially as the weather has been horrible all day.
Not forgetting our fantastic volunteers and our pups/dogs too 🦮

🦮Our first fundraising event for 2026, will be on February 10th at Tesco's in South Shields 🐾

Last Friday and Saturday, we fundraised, at Asda, in Boldon
We raised a grand total of
🐾🐾 £1,798.28 🐾🐾

🦮Last Thursday, our fundraising group, were at Gateshead Civic Centre.
As always, there was a friendly welcome, from everyone.
**We raised a wonderful £503.67**
Thank you, to everyone, who came along and supported us🥰
Picture one is: Of Ambassador dog Rosie, a White Golden Retriever, Guide dog pup Molly, a very pale yellow Lab/Retriever and Working Guide dog Belle, a dark Yellow Lab/Golden Retriever. All three are sitting in front of a huge Christmas tree, which has lots and lots of Red, Silver and Gold baubles all over it. On the top is a star, that lights up. 🐾
Picture Two is: Of our fundraising table, which has lots of items for sale on it. 🦮On Tuesday, we were at Northern Powergrid, in Sunderland.
The staff are always very welcoming, coming to chat to us about what we do. Of course, our 3 girlies, were the centre of attention and were very well behaved, during the 2 minute silence, for Remembrance Day🌺
**We raised a wonderful £705.87**
Thank you, to everyone, who supported us, we're so grateful for your kindness 😀
