Congratulations on edition #200 Free Lions! 🦁🦁🦁

Free Lions 200! Here we go, the start of the World Cup.

A proud milestone for us at Free Lions and the Football Supporters’ Association. A huge thank you everyone who has helped, read and picked up a copy around the world, we hope it continues to be a great source, written by fans, for fans, to help you on your travels.

We grabbed a word with our Gaffer at the FSA, Kevin Miles, founder of the Free Lions, about its history and the role of the Fans’ Embassy.

You can download issue 200 for Dallas via the link, with hard copies available to collect in Dallas/Arlington on Tuesday and Wednesday.

🚨You will notice in the Free Lions we reference a new incoming website.

With the ever-changing information for this World Cup, it would have been irresponsible for us to do a printed guidebook for the tournament as per usual, as much as we love doing it and sending it to you in the post, with the support of the ESTC team at the FA.

It would have ended up being littered with mistakes and not fair on you.

When it became reality that we couldn’t do a printed tournament guide, we instead embarked on building a Free Lions website, another useful tool for the World Cup and beyond, giving us the ability to provide live information amongst all of our other channels.

⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿For over a year we have been in discussions with, and met with, key organisers, visited the venues, and worked closely with the FA, the UKFPU and the FCDO, making sure your voice is in the room on key matters. The information provided is always tailored to England supporters.

It’s almost ready, and we will share the full details when it is. But for those travelling to the World Cup, we hope it helps you on your travels following England.

🗞️And worry not, we will still have the physical copies of the individual Free Lions, printed fresh for each game, available to collect in North America at our Fans’ Embassy locations, and eventually order on our website.
