A former volunteer of ours, a young care leaver, moved into their first home. With help from Together for Children, we were able to kit it out with discounted furniture from our shop.

Thank you to everyone who shops, donates and volunteers with us. You made this happen. Our goal now is to make many more stories like this one 🧡

Congratulations, Jayden!

After nearly 4 months volunteering with us, Jayden has landed a new job. Working on the till and chatting with customers every day helped him grow in confidence and build real communication skills.

We're so proud of you, Jayden. We'll miss you (and you'll miss the gizmos ).

Want to build your confidence too? Volunteer with North East United. No experience needed. Send us a DM or call into the shop to get started.
