Following confirmation of bluetongue in Scotland, our show day vets Forth Valley Vets are hosting an information meeting next Thursday - see post for details and registration

**Bluetongue** Meeting for Farmers

After one confirmed case in Scotland we will be holding a meeting on Thursday 20th August at 7.30pm at Briarlands Farm, Blairdrummond, Stirling, FK9 4UP. We will have speakers from SRUC, Boehringer (the Bultavo 3 vaccine manufacturer) and APHA alongside our vets to help answer your questions.

💥 If you suspect Bluetongue disease contact your vet immediately to discuss your concerns. Reporting and follow up testing is important for surveillance and control of this notifiable disease.

After a fantastic summer of judging at Fife Show, Stirling Agricultural Show, Doune and Dunblane Show, Braco Show and Kinross Show here are the final results!

👏 Huge congratulations to everyone who competed throughout the accumulator and a big thank you for taking part! It’s been brilliant to see so many young handlers getting involved.

📮 If you were placed overall but didn’t receive your rosette when the scores were announced at Kinross Show please get in touch and we’ll arrange to have your rosette sent out.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU!

As the weekend draws to a close, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone that has supported us for Stirling Show 2026. A mostly dry show made for an enjoyable day - next on the wish list for 2027 is some heat!

Thank you to our judges, exhibitors, sponsors, advertisers, trade stands, craft stands, food & drink vendors, entertainment, committee, stewards, helpers, supporters and you all for attending - we really couldn't have done it without you!

Thanks must also go to Malcolm & Calum Snowie and Brian Gilvear who kindly donate the use of the field at Gogar Mains Farm.

We hope to see you all next year on Saturday 12th June 2027!
