Services

Family Mediation is a voluntary process in which a trained, impartial third person (the mediator) meets with separated parents and helps them communicate more effectively to make plans for the future, particularly around their children. Mediation can also help resolve problems for other family members, such as grandparents, stepfamilies and extended families.

Child Contact Centres: Parents going through a tough divorce or separation can find it too difficult to see each other. There may be other factors that have prevented a parent from being able to see their child or children. Our Contact Centres in Stirling, Alloa and Falkirk offer a welcoming and safe environment for the child or children to spend time with the parent they no longer live with, or an extended family member. Child Contact Centre play an important role in supporting children affected by family breakdown.

Intake, Family Support, Parenting Workshops: Parents who contact our service will be offered an intake appointment to assist them comply to a court order, figure out the best plan of action for themselves and their children and explore different options regarding mediation or contact. Due to the significant trauma that separation and divorce can bring our specialist trained staff are here to listen and provide signposting or support offering individual meetings with a family support worker or by attending a parenting workshop.
