Hello all! We have a delightful charity update to share!

Our fundraising total has been increased thanks to a donation from the Kitacon Cabaret, organised this year by Tab.

The total money raised for Cancer Research UK from Kitacon Undercover is now £5,069.

An amazing result and almost doubling last Kitacon's amount in the process. Again, a massive thank you to everyone who donated this year whether it was via the Cabaret, the Charity Raffle, Charity Auction, or even the Pub Quiz.

Your generosity is incredible. Thank you all. 💙

Finding your best secret agent shouldn't be difficult, right? How hard can it be to find just one agent!?

"One Agent" the fast paced, and mostly very silly, opening video from Kitacon Undercover is now available to view on our YouTube channel. With a packed voice cast, animation from Ellyish Studios and a live action appearance from Asuka UK, One Agent was a fun way to open this year's convention.

Good evening, Kitacon Agents!

We hope you are recovering from a very busy and eventful weekend. The Kitacon Committee is delighted to announce that we raised an incredible £4,292 for Cancer Research UK during Kitacon Undercover.

This total includes the proceeds from all our charity events, including Merch Pack donations, the Kitacon Cabaret, the Kita x Kokoro Pub Quiz, the Charity Raffle, and of course, the Charity Auction at the Closing Ceremony.

We absolutely stormed past the total amount raised in 2024. A massive thank you to everyone who donated and contributed to this year's charity drive! Your generosity is truly incredible.

We will leave the fundraising page open for a few more days, so there is still time to donate if you would like to contribute.

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I hope you’ve had a good first day of Kitacon Undercover and are looking forward to the rest of the event we have in store for you today and tomorrow!

The reason I’m addressing you all this afternoon is to be open and transparent to you all about the behaviour of the Touch Rugby competitors and the steps we at Kitacon and Warwick are taking to make sure you all feel safe and included during your stay here.

I have spoken directly to the Warwick Arts Centre Director this morning and he has assured me that any continued harassing behaviour will not be tolerated and if anyone is identified they will be asked to leave, which will have very negative effects for the teams as they will be unable to continue with the competition.

Certain individuals and teams have already been spoken too already and further meetings with all team leads are taking place to curb further anti-social and harassing behaviour. The teams have been told that they are banned from using any scooters or lime bikes as well.

Regardless of the above please make sure you report any further incidents to us as every report we receive is passed onto Warwick directly as soon as we are made aware of it. If you can provide us with as much detail as you can, such as who they might be (any identifying colours, shirts etc), when the incident took place and where it took place.

You’ve all been incredibly patient and understanding of the situation and I wanted to thank you all for looking out for one an another.

Good morning, Kitacon agents! Welcome to KITACON UNDERCOVER!

Our exciting convention weekend begins today! Registrations are open now until 12pm outside the Mead Gallery on the Arts Centre ground floor. After 12pm, registrations will move to ops in the National Grid Room on the first floor.

What is in store for our agents today? We've supplied you with today's itinerary of missions (events) for you to consider attending. Don't forget for the most up to date schedule, please visit the Kitacon website at kitacon.org.

Our Opening Ceremony begins at 16:00 in Butterworth Hall where you'll find out everything you need to know for the Kitacon Undercover this weekend!

While our video games room, supplied by AmeCon, is being set up ahead its 18:00 opening, we will be accepting sign-ups for TCG events over this weekend including Lorcana and Pokémon on Saturday and MTG on Sunday. Sign-ups for a variety of video game tournaments and speed runs on Saturday and Sunday are also available. Pop over to Learning Grid if you want to take part in any of these events.
