🧸 Doubly Special Repair Story! 🧸

​We love seeing unique items at Solihull Repair Cafe, but this pair holds a special place in our hearts! These two sentimental singing teddy bears came to us completely silent and out of action.

​Thanks to a bit of TLC and fix-it magic from our amazing volunteers, they’re back on their feet and duet-ing once again to the "Teddy Bears' Picnic"!

Next, Solihull Repair Cafe Sunday 12th July we start at 10am and finish at 12pm (last items B4 11am). Venue Happy Heart Cafe . We will have sewing repairs and electrical and electronic repairs this month.

Some months, we do reach capacity, so get there early to avoid disappointment.

Making a Difference at a Local Level!
​We are thrilled to announce that Solihull Repair Cafe will be featuring at the Knowle Green Fair as part of Great Big Green Week!
​Got a broken toaster, a finicky kettle, or a lamp that’s lost its spark? Before you throw them away, come and find us! While we won't be running a full repair session at this event, we'll be there to help you learn more about what we do and how we can help you save your beloved items from the landfill.

​Chat with us and meet some of our friendly volunteers
​Ask us for advice on a tricky fix or a broken item
​Get more information about our regular monthly sessions and how you can get involved

BIG NEWS for Solihull Repair Cafe!
​We are absolutely thrilled to be named the Solihull Lions 2026 Circular Economy Enterprise! 🏆
​Thanks to their generous sponsorship, we’ve already hosted a specialized Safety Training Event for our amazing volunteers and purchased vital new safety gear to keep our sessions secure.
​A massive thank you to the Solihull Lions for supporting our mission to reduce waste, share skills, and build a more sustainable community.

5 YEARS OF FIXING:
Our Impact! We are celebrating a major milestone! For 5 years, our local Repair Café has been a hub and community spirit.

​While we love the chats and the tea, the numbers tell an even bigger story. Since we opened our doors, we have successfully repaired so many items!
​What does that mean for the planet? By choosing to repair instead of replace, our community has saved an estimated:
​20,000kg of CO_2 emissions

REPAIR CAFÉ UPDATE: Sunday Session We’re looking forward to seeing you at tomorrow’s Repair Café, but we have a quick update regarding our available expertise for this session.
​
​Unfortunately, we won't be able to offer sewing or fabric repairs tomorrow.
What’s On The Bench?

​Small Electricals: Toasters, lamps, kettles, and clocks etc.
​Electronics: Radios, and gadgets etc.
​Computers: Laptops, desktops, and software troubleshooting.
