A big congratulations to everyone in Highley, which has been crowned Best Kept Village in south Shropshire!

We're especially proud that the hard work of young people from Highley Youth Club played a part in the village's success.

The roadside flower planters and canvas pictures created by youth club members were among the features highlighted during the judging - a lovely example of young people making a positive contribution to their local community.

It's great to see their creativity and efforts recognised, and to know they've helped make Highley an even more welcoming place for everyone.

Well done to everyone involved in the village's success, and a special congratulations to our young people at Highley Youth Club!

What does the future hold? Let's explore the possibilities!

Our next programme for home educated young people is all about building confidence, discovering strengths and exploring future career opportunities.

Starting on Tuesday 3 November, this seven-week course will run every Tuesday from 3.30pm to 5pm until 15 December, helping young people think about what they enjoy, what they're good at and where their skills could take them.

From exploring different career paths and preparing job applications to practising interview skills and meeting employers, the programme combines practical learning with friendly support from our experienced youth workers.

Young people will also work towards an ASDAN award, gaining valuable experience and recognition for their achievements.

The course costs £20 per session and offers a welcoming environment where young people can learn at their own pace, make connections and build confidence for the future.

It was great to welcome the Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) to our Young Parents group recently, helping more young dads find out about the dedicated support available to them.

The session brought together new and familiar faces, giving dads the chance to chat with other young parents, nurses and youth workers, share experiences and make new connections in a relaxed environment.

We hope it will encourage more young dads to get involved with the FNP’s Young Dads group and build their own support networks.

Our Young Parents group is part of the EE Project, delivered in partnership with Community Resource and Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation with funding from Lintel Trust.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us!

What an achievement by our very own Hannah Cole!

Hannah has successfully completed the gruelling 50-mile Long Mynd Hike, raising more than £500 for All About Youth along the way!

We're so proud of Hannah for taking on such a tough challenge, especially knowing the difference her fundraising will make.

The money will be used to provide mental health resources for young people, helping us support their wellbeing and give them access to the tools they need.

A huge thank you to Hannah for her amazing efforts, and to everyone who donated and cheered her on.

Well done, Hannah - you absolutely smashed it! 👏

The Government has announced plans to recruit 1,000 new youth workers - putting a welcome national spotlight on the importance of youth work.

Here in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin, we already see every day what a difference the right support can make.

Youth workers provide trusted adults, safe spaces and opportunities for young people to build confidence, friendships and skills. But providing high-quality youth work takes investment.

At a time when funding is increasingly difficult to secure and the costs of delivering services continue to rise, we need your support to keep our existing youth work going and create more opportunities for young people.

More than 50 pledges were made to All About Youth at our Breakfast With The Best event earlier this year - and we'd love more people, businesses and organisations to join them.

Whether you can donate, fund a project, volunteer your time or make a pledge, your support can make a genuine difference.
