Notice to all participants!

Following this update from the Carnival Comittee, we will be asking you to join us at 1.45pm at the latest. Please apply sunscreen before arrival and bring plenty to stay hydrated with!

Parade participants due to the warm weather forecast we are going to delay judging until a little later. Please arrive at Admirals by 1.45pm for judging at 2pm. This means we reduce the time you have to spend waiting.

Tomorrow, our carnival float trailier is being delivered at 5pm at St Andrew's Primary School.

It is a large trailer and as the roads are narrow, we wanted to let anyone know who would usually park on this area. Lots of space around the entrance gates would be really appreciate but also a heads up to any residents on Park Lane - we aim to be as swift as possible and avoid disturbing your afternoon!

Isn't the weather fantastic!? 🌞 The church is cool and we are ready for a great session. Please do bring a bottle of water or something to drink, amd stay hydrated in the warm weather 😀

Thank you so much to Shifnal Carnival! We really value you 🫶🏻

Every penny collected on carnival day is donated to great causes around the Shifnal area. A few of the beneficiaries this year included Shifnal Shockers, CentreStage, Shifnal, 1st Shifnal Scout Group, Shifnal Primary School PTFA , St Andrews PTFA and many more.

Did you know? We are a volunteer lead group!

In order for CentreStage to continue, we need to take on new leaders. Ian leads the group and hopes to welcome some extra help to lead the 3 age groups. Could this be you? If you can help, please contact Ian at [email protected] or send us a message.

Notice to parents/carers 📣

As we get everything closer to our summer showcase on July 6th, attendance is hugely appreciated, and means the children are as prepared as possible.

On Monday 22nd and Monday 29th June, we ask that all age groups can be with us from 6pm until 7.45pm so we can thoroughly run through our work.

We also kindly ask that all children are off script for Monday's session too. An email will be sent out very soon with a copy of the script if yours has been lost.

Details about Monday 6th July, including timings, will be communicated soon. It is a family event, so please invite your families and friends along!

To all parents and members!

Its time to being making your costumes!

Shifnal carnival and our Summer project are both fast approaching and your costumes will be the icing on the cake!

This years theme is Monsters 👾 we need your creativity to steal the show. This year there will be 4 prizes up for grabs. 1 for each age group and 1 for the best parent costume!

Costumes will be used for both the carnival and summer project.

Costumes must be hand made. We know it can be costly to buy costumes, so the idea is that you can use everyday household items to make your costume. If you are struggling, ease let us know, we can help. Making your own costume also fits with our theme and keeps the authenticity!

You can be any colour, any style, any shape, but your costume must not cover your face - this is for reasons of safety so we can track all children in the Carnival.

If you haven't signed up for the carnival yet, please speak to a leader on Monday!
