Join us for the annual Bike4Life Festival on Sunday 17th May 2026, a thrilling celebration that brings together motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the UK to support the lifesaving work of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Midlands Air Ambulance Charity:
The Midlands Air Ambulance is the only charity responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances serving the communities of six Midl
ands counties, which constitutes the largest air ambulance operating region in the UK. Since 1991, the charity has responded to more than 70,000 missions averaging 4,500 per year or nearly 12 each day, making it one of the longest established and busiest air ambulance organisations in the UK. Each air ambulance mission costs an average of £2,950, and each critical care car mission costs £288, which means that between £11 - £12 million is needed each year to remain operational, which is donated entirely by the public and local businesses. As approximately 30 per cent of the incidents MAAC attends are road traffic collisions, many of which sadly involve motorcyclists, the charity recognises the growing importance of building strong links with the biking community, which is why Bike4Life was founded.
